ANGELITA CAME FROM A FILIPINO MILITARY DYNASTY. Sometime in January 2010, "United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon named a Filipino Major General Natalio C. Ecarma III as the new Force Commander for the UN peacekeeping operation in the Golan Heights, tasked with observing the ceasefire between Israel and Syria in the region." He once commanded Philippine President Gloria Arroyo's guard batallion. The 1050-Men UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) is composed of troops from Austria, Canada, Croatia, India, Japan and the Philippines. Major Gen. Natalio C. Ecarma III replaced Gen. Wolfgang Jilke of Austria.

Ecarma, 55, comes from a Military family. His fraternal Grandfather and namesake, the late Colonel Natalio R. Ecarma Sr, was one of nine graduates in 1924 of the Philippine Constabulary Academy, now Philippine Military Academy (PMA). Ecarma III belongs to PMA Class '81.

An uncle, the oldest son of Natalio Sr., Philippine Air Force Lt. Natalio A. Ecarma Jr. was killed in action on a staffing mission against Philippine Rebels in 1951. He was 23 years old.

Ecarma III's father, Philippine Air Force Brig. Gen. Rodolfo A. Ecarma, now retired, (PMA '54) was Deputy Commander of Clark Air Force Base, an American Air Base in Luzon region prior to his retirement.

Another uncle, the younger brother of Rodolfo, was Philippine Army General Renato A. Ecarma, now retired, (PMA '55) was the regional commander in the Visayas region.

For the first time in the history of the more than 100-year-old Military Institution are three graduates from three generations of the same family, namely Natalio Sr., Rodolfo and Natalio III. And from the same Family are three alumni who became Generals, namely Rodolfo, Renato and Natalio III.

Angelita fondly calls herself an "army brat."

I remember the same situation when our MSN GROUPS USTPMTBBAA website was defunct in 2008 and changed to WINDOWS LIVE. MSN was very nice to choose MULTIPLY for our group to migrate. I don't have any idea of the MULTIPLY plan about us right now. I hope the management like MSN will find a place for us to migrate, pictures and all the good stuff.

Heh-heh-heh! Hindi mo lang alam because you're not a lechon eater. All female and male animals, as well as humans, have different smell and taste. Most especially when cooked.

I am what I eat. Remember, we in the animal kingdom have a different genetic code.

I've been buying chicharon (lechon kawali) from a Mexican store recommended by Vicky Abad. Did you know if the pig is male the lechon smells piggy? If female, the lechon smells good. Napaka-sarap!
