I just have to make this mini-video. Because so far I've been waiting to get this in my e-mailbox and no one has forwarded the poem by the sainted Mother Teresa to me.

Are you bothered by my typing in the video?  I am.  Did it anyway.  Well, here's the entire poem:

I was indirectly informed by way of other You Tube
videos that this was from a 1968 Paradoxical Commandments written by Dr. Kent M. Keith, not a poem by Mother Teresa.

DO IT ANYWAY

BY

MOTHER TERESA

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish,
-->
ulterior motives.  Do it anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends

and some true enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may

cheat you.  Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building,

someone could destroy overnight.  Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,

they may be jealous.  Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,

people will often forget tomorrow.  Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have

and it may never be enough.

Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis

it is between you and God.

It was never between you and them anyway.

A Poem by Mother Teresa. I love it! It validates everything I do. I do it for me. Way to go, sainted Mother Teresa. Flowers photos from gardens in my Skokie village.
