USTPMTBBAA Reunion May 2015

REUNION DATE:  MAY 2, 2015  SATURDAY

VENUE: MAIN STREET STATION CASINO BREWERY HOTEL  

DOWNTOWN  LAS VEGAS

FYI: This is not a USTPMTBBAA "Grand Reunion" which is held every other year.  It's an alumni dinner and dance party where close classmates and batchmates could get together, reminisce of their college days and just have fun.  The Main Street Station is already fully-booked on May 2 -3, 2015.  There are many affordable hotels in the Las Vegas Strip to make your room reservation.  Take a taxi to downtown with your group to attend the class reunion at Main Street Station Hotel.    There will be no anniversary medals awarded - usually given in Grand Reunion.  The 2016 Grand Reunion will be held in St. Augustine, Florida.

A Love Letter From Jesus

How are you?  I just had to send you this letter to tell you how much I love you. I saw you yesterday as you were walking with your friends.  I waited all day, hoping you would walk and talk with me also.  As evening drew near, I gave you a sunset to close your day, and a cool breeze to rest you.  Then I waited, but you never came.  O yes, it hurt me, but I still love you because I am your friend.

I saw you fall asleep last night, and I longed to touch your brow, so I spilled moonlight upon your pillow and face.  Again, I waited, wanting to rush down so we could talk.  I have so many gifts for you.

You awakened late this morning and rushed off for the day.  My tears were in the rain.  Today you looked so sad, so alone.  It makes my heart ache because I understand.  My friends let me down and hurt me many times, but I love you.  I try to tell you in the quiet green grass.  I whisper it in the leaves, and trees, and breathe it in the color of the flowers, I shout it to you in the mountain streams, and give the birds love songs to sing.  I clothe you with warm sunshine and perfume the air.  My love for you is deeper than the oceans, and bigger than the biggest want or need you could ever have.

In case you are worn out and want to get away from the mischief of the world, just give a murmur of dismay and with a sign of resignation we will spend eternity together in heaven.  I know how hard it is on earth, I really know because I was there, and I want to help you.  My Father wants to help you, too.  He's the way to carry us through, you know.  Just call me, ask me, talk to me.  It is your decision.  I have chosen you, and because of this I will wait ... Because I Love You.

Hi, Batchmates Susan and Mila of Greenhouses-Canada!

Close-up of my beautiful Cattleya at home.  It just appeared October 25th and I was so surprised!  My sister-in-law Marilou gave it to me for my birthday three years ago.  I don't have a green thumb -- I used Miracle Grow.

Still blooming for almost a month now.

I just received in the mail a letter from USTPMTBBAA Secretary-Treasurer Mrs. Purie Gallardo - - an update on what's happening with the alumni association and of a planned dinner reunion for June 4th & 5th (Friday & Saturday).  There's a great possibility of me attending this memorable occasion as it's also to commemorate the one year death anniversary of Professor Joe.  Filipinos call it, "Babang luksa."
June 4: Mass for Professor Joe at 12:10 P.M.  Lunch will follow.
Friday evening: Dinner & General Meeting
June 5: Saturday day tour of Iowa City and nearby community; trip to Riverside Casino & Resort
Saturday evening: Dinner & awarding of Anniversary Medals ( year of graduating from Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Biochemistry and Botany)
Reunion fee: $45.00
