Highlights of USTPMTBBAA 7th Grand Reunion

As many members are aware, our beloved President, Professor Joe went safely home to our Lord on the afternoon of May 30, 2009.  A video tribute prepared by his family was shown at the reunion dinner-dance.  His full obituary along with online condolences may be viewed at http://www.lensingfuneral.com
The Las Vegas reunion went ahead as planned in accordance with Prof. Joe's wishes.
There was no Continuing Education presentation for pharmacists on Friday, June 19th as was scheduled in the program.  However, many attendees stayed for awhile and socialized with their batchmates.
It was proposed and agreed by the members present at the General Membership Meeting on Saturday, June 20th, that Prof. Joe remain as USTPMTBBAA President (posthumous) until the end of his term in 2012.  Purie the Secretary-Treasurer will work closely with the Vice Presidents to keep the association running.
With regards to the 400 years celebration of UST, Prof. Angie Tan Cabreira will put together a travel package in the Philippines.  The package information will be sent to all members and alumni in the registry list.  USTPMTBBAA is currently waiting for a response from the Faculty of Pharmacy for the tentative schedule of events during this celebration.
The next Grand Reunion in the USA will be in 2013 since many members wish to attend the 400 years celebration in the Philippines in 2011.
